A sense of time and place...

representations of the world as experienced by Matt

I am creating this site as a means to explore, meditate on and consider the assumptions underlying my life: assumptions regarding my past, my identity (or "identities," since we all identify with many things), what is important to me, my understanding of the world and my place in it, and what all these things mean to me. This site has been deliberately constructed in a non-linear manner since fragments of our perceptions of time and self continually rejuxtapose themselves with each other in the ever-evolving stories we use to explain who we are. Perhaps you too may be encouraged to recognize and evaluate the assumptions in your own life. I encourage you to explore this site yourself and leave some feedback in the Guestbook.
